To download Planet data (PlanetScope and RapidEye products) from the CSDA archive, please use the SDX to discover the granules you are interested in. Please contact the CSDA Program Data Management Team at support-csda@nasa.gov with a list of granules. The Data Management team will restore those granules and let you know via email when the data are available for download.
GeoOptics and Capella Space data now available
GeoOptics and (GNSS Science Data filter in SDX) Capella Space (SAR) data acquired during the CSDA evaluation period are now available through the SmallSat Data Explorer (SDX). To request authorization, please select the appropriate vendor and acknowledge the appropriate EULA in the CSDA Data Authorization Form.
Notice on Planet Access
The purchase agreement between NASA CSDA and Planet Labs expired on September 20th, 2024. Beginning at this time, users approved and provided Planet credentials through the CSDA Program are no longer able to utilize these credentials to download data through the Planet Explorer or Planet API.
CSDA is working on a competitive procurement for electrooptical imagery. Please stay tuned for additional announcements from the CSDA Program on electrooptical imagery access opportunities
Gap in Spire Availability
There is a gap in Spire data availability starting June 7th. This data is expected to be backfilled at a later date.
Maxar Data Request Form
Thank you for your interest in accessing data through the Commercial SmallSat Data
Acquisition Program. CSDA has archived a large volume of Maxar data for NASA funded
investigators to utilize in their scientific research.
To request data, please use the Maxar Discover Tool to identify desired
data and provide the search criteria or catalog identifiers using this form.
